i felt its a great video obviously, but Yoga is to be mastered very delicately and carefully.she went very fast.. yoga is not aerobic or doing elipticals.. and if one does in a wrong way wothout understanging it can create wrong outputs!..she went too fast.. plz show how to inhal and exhale.. u just dont breathe in and out there is a way!

You won’t lose that much, and you’ll look worse! So don’t fall for it. DO YOGA, MOVE MORE, EAT WELL, AND HEALTHY, AND BE STRONG AND LEAN AND POWERFUL, not a tired, bitchy, deprived person. IT’S NOT CUTE. xoSadie

Thanks, e-force [this is a response to the "lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks" ad that keeps popping up all over the site]. I removed the ad, but this is totally true: Beware of things promising this much weight loss in so little time. First of all, it doesn’t work, and second of all, you lose water weight and muscle, and end up looking baggy and saggy and feeling like crap.

Wow, that is a lot of weight in just two weeks. It is very unhealthy though. No weight lose program is going to really work in the long run. It’s said a healthy weight to lose per week is around 2 pounds. Patience is key. you want this to be a lifestyle change not a quick weight loss fix.

I am more than 50 lbs overweight, would this sequence still be appropriate for me? I have been practicing basic yoga with my WII Fit for 2 months. (Its the only access I have to yoga at the present time).

Hey–I’m flattered. I do eat pretty well, and not a ton, but it really is the yoga. It changes you on a deep level. My body is so different now than it used to me. Longer, leaner—this really is a magic exercise form! xoxoSadie

Hi there.
They say the left side is the feminine side, so if it’s stuck, try to be nice to it, soften, and breathe right into the stuck place. Don’t force it, but rather cultivate an acceptance there, and let the leg unwind over time. Often, we’re way tighter on one side, so just stay with it, and realize it took time to get it that way–it will take time to undo it.
let me know how it goes–and CONGRATS on changing your body!! That rocks. xoxoSadie

Hey there,
I’m doing an integrated upward dog, which means that if the shoulders are parallel to the floor, and arms drawn into the body naturally, the thighs should just brush the floor. Lift them up too much and it means the arms are over-pressing out of the body. Try that! xoxoSadie

I love this sequence. I have one question though. After the chaturanga are you transitioning into up-dog or cobra? I can’t quite tell from the video.

When you start yoga, how long does it take until you become more flexible?
