was distorted thinking to cover up the process.

People viewing this video should take it in that context and not view me as a whole food mecca or even expert. I know a lot about food and diet, and different types of diets, as to most people with eating disorders, but becoming comfortable and being able to view food in a positive light is the challenge.

thousands in treatment, and continues to be a struggle even though I am managing recovery pretty well at this point. The purpose of my channel is to show the daily ins and outs of what recovery is like, and how I have improved over time. There are many things in my earlier videos that show my obvious issues, and rules with food that I no longer have and that would be said differently now months later. But the point is to see the progress and change over time and not to go back and change what

overcome. It is not uncommon for a person with an ED to “recover” by switching food rules and obsessions. Only to find they have not really addressed the underlying cause of ED and relapse later (this happened to me). While I use many macro, vegan, and Raw ideas, and I try and avoid most process foods, white flour, and limit my refined sugar intake for me to totally forbide those items from my diet would lead me to the same behavioral tendencies that could have cost me my life, has cost me

Yes you are right about potatoes and zucchini. However, as I said, this is not a Macrochanel. I put Macro in the tag because I was reading Macro books when I made this vid. And I do apply some macro principles. When I made this vid I was also attempting to tackle my fear of publicly acknowledging food in any positive light, I have progressed much in recovery since then. But those in recovery must take care because following such ridged rules about food are the same behaviors we are trying to

There are different levels in macrobiotic, but potatoes and zucchini are a no no.
They belong to the solanaceas family, kind of poisonous and very acidic plants. If you’re trying to heal some serious illness or even loose weight, you shouldn’t consume this night-shadow veggies.
At least in Macro they are out, in any level

there is no cream used in this recipe so I don’t kniw what you are talking about. There are different levels of macro. It has macro because I was talking about the books I was reading. This is an ED recovery blog. Read my channel before you start picking everything apart. Did you even watch the video?

Funny about that, when I was “recovered” I went back to the whole-foods thing I grew up with. I was a vegetarian, not vegan, but the most processed thing I had was canned soup, like, twice in four years. It was just transferring my food Puritanism to something else: different story, same funny hat and shoes with the big buckles on ‘em.
