I think False, because there are so many different oils with different health benefits, Coconut oil is said to help thyroid issues and as a Greek…I may secretly believe olive oil solves everything

Lol, Ok I finished watching the video and have always admired your efforts in getting people to live healthy lives. However there is a group of scientist that dispute the cholesterol claim and I’m starting to wonder myself. (The International Network of Cholesterol Skeptics) There was a recent drug formulated at MIT that lowered LDL and increased HDL but was taken off after clinical trials leading to more deaths, called Torcetrapib. Just a thought to ponder. aka pongman

This must be a trick question so I’m going to say false however I really do believe it’s true. So in spite of your attempt at making us all feel stupid I’m going to say my final answer is true no matter what you have to say and no matter where you got your science from. Ok?!

We have enzymes to break down meat too. You haven’t proved a thing stating the obvious, and expressing false facts on age based on diets. Age isn’t compleatly based off of diet. And besides that any of these examples on tests on age will always by stats, and figures (which we all know are not allways right). If you really want to get into this debate look up meat (I mean health meat), and look up plants. Eventually you will find that plants (In general) are more toxic (Chemically) than meat.

Unlike canines and felines, we have enzymes in our saliva that helps break down plant-matter. Carnivores lack this enzyme.

You probably eat steak and bacon with every meal. Lets see how long your health lasts. Vegans have been recored to live 15 years longer than meat-eaters and vegetarians 7 years longer.

Plants have cell walls, and cell membranes to protect the cell. Now that we know that, lets look at what meat (Red meat) has. Red meat only has a cell membrane to protect the cell. Now can you tell which is easier to break down? Let me tell you bone heads a little something about biology, and evolution. We (As spices) are based on what we do. Look at every herbivore, and then look at any carnivore whose intestines are bigger? Oh by the way, I have three sets (On all sides) of “Pointy” teeth.

are you kidding me? Fresh unprocessed vegetables and fruit are a walk in the park for your digestive system. Your body has a hard time digesting red meats. If you ever looked at your teeth, you’ll see you only have two teeth that are a bit pointy. The rest are molars, used for grinding up plant foods.Meat is supposed to have little room in our diets. They should be drowned out by fruits and veggies!

I really like this food pyramid. I should show it to my mom who seems to think the Atkins diet is actually healthy LOL. And I’m also trying to tell her that plant-based fats are better than animal-based fats but she doesn’t listen… *sigh*

False. Flaxseed oils, canola, and extra virgin olive oil are all good fats. Calories is just another word for energy. The more active you are the more calories you eat.

Natalie, when are they going to give you your own network TV show? I am definitely cutting down my red meat intake. I loved your video about sugar. Question? What about belly fat?? What’s the deal. I have a flat tummy my whole life, now all of a sudden :(

Those animals evolved differently than humans based on their diets. That’s like comparing apples to oranges. Carnivore diets and omnivore diets aren’t even in the same hemisphere.

Red meat is easier to digest than fruits and veggies. You can see this in animals either herbivores or omnivores, the herbivorous have longer intestines than omnivores. Cheetahs vs. pandas, lions vs. giraffes, ECT

White bread is empty refined calories that make you fat. Whole grains do the opposite.

That is totally false. If you consume healthy oils like olive and canola in healthy amounts, it actually protects you from a large number of health conditions and diseases. The fat and calories in these oils are good, because they have a high nutritional value, and they aren’t empty calorise.

No it doesn’t because Olive Oil is considered healthy. Damn I killed myself exercising with fit people and I’m the opposite. Whats the downside of consuming white bread? Isn’t there the same amount of calories that are in both the white and whole wheat? I don’t like the grainy taste.

Natalie, I have a question about oils. I don’t use vegetable oil as a cooking oil, but is it unhealthy to include the vegetable oils in tinned food in my diet? Eg. when making the salad I include the tinned tuna and the vegetable oil that comes with it in my salad. Thanks
