have a lemon water a day

Filed Under (alkaline, detox, family, health) by Viv on 23-08-2007

One of the easiest way to alkaline your body after eating those acidic foods is making your own lemon water and drink it up.

My friends think it is such a hassle having to squeeze the juice out of the lemon daily, but I feel that in the long run it is beneficial to your health. When the water is alkalized, lemon water helps to clean and stimulate our liver and kidneys. Besides that, lemon drink also helps in digestion problems like bloating and heartburn.

By the way, lemon juice do contain some minerals like potassium, magnesium and calcium as well as the well-known Vitamin C.

Letting in my secret - Once a week, I would use two-halves of a whole lemon for my body scrub! When you come out of your bath you would feel the cleanliness and freshness. So where can you get such a cheap but safe and natural skin cleanser?

Hope you will give it a try and let us know how you feel.
